Here I Am .....

..... Rock You Like A Hurricane!

With the release of Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock in the US just over a week or so ago, the game has already broken all expectations by smashing the $130 million in sales mark in just 7 days! Talk about high demand.

Then again, us English folk dont get the game for another few weeks as it's UK release is slated as Nov 23rd. So i'll be getting the 360 version for Xmas, anyone who wants to battle me on Xmas day can do so by adding me to live freinds, ImPaKtGTAS.

In the meantime i'm currently 'buying' the game for my ps2 off isohunt :) Should be done by tonight, i'll update you guys tomorrow with how it got on, and possibly a video or 2 of my playing.

Cya guys, thanks for visiting :)

No World For Tomorrow .....

..... So Live For Today

Well... With Coheed & Cambria having released their latest album within the past 2-3 weeks i thought it would a good way to start my blog talking for a minute about what i could probably describe as my favourite band of all time.

The album, 'Coheed & Cambria - Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV | Vol. 2: No World For Tomorrow' is the 4th and final album of the bands crittically acclaimed 'Amory Wars' series which depicts the life and times of the bands Singer / Lead Guitarist (Claudio Sanchez) in the setting of a Space Oddesey, i wont bore everyone by going in-depth with the entire story, but if you are interested, the C&C fansite 'Cobalt & Calcium' has a few people who know a lot more than i do, so i'll let them explain it:

The Story So Far

The album is a hard hitter, with a soft into leading straight into one of the heavier songs in the bunch. Memorable parts include 'The Running Free', which was released onto itunes a month or so before the albums release, 'Mother Superior' and 'The End Complete V: On The Brink' which brings the entire saga to a close in a spectacular way, (HAIL! HAIL!) All in all, the album is a definite 'Must Listen' in my opinion, check it out as soon as you can, currently retailing for £9.99 GBP in HMV and Virgin so for the price its a steal, and one of the few albums i've bought for real in my life :P

Back to the blog;
I'll be updating the place daily (That is, if I can be bothered :P ) with links, fun things, anything i feel like posting really.

So thanks for visiting ;)
